BRAINKRUPTCY recorded in 2022 19 bankruptcies for which a measure of bankruptcy risk was available at the bankruptcy filing date. The measure of bankruptcy risk provided a valid early warning signal in 19 out of 19 bankruptcies. The charts below show the measure of bankruptcy risk (green), the cut-off-rate (black) and the indexed stock price (blue) for selected corporate bankruptcies. A measure of bankruptcy risk above the cut-off-rate indicates that a company exhibits severe financial distress.
